Poor Service at Vodacom

This has by far been the worst service provider I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. Currently my services has been suspended. Vodacom does not advise why this is but instead sends a sms stating that I owe an amount of R 313.71 . WHY do I owe that amount?? No telephone call or even a more detailed sms explaining but instead just advised that this amount is owning. I immediately went into a branch, paid the amount only to receive a sms the very next day advising once again that an amount was owing. Vodacom then suspended my service. I decided to go into the Table View branch at Bayside Mall and received even more disgusting service in the form of a consultant named Davidene who in fact could not explain anything all the while looking very bored while speaking to me. I then spoke to her manager who managed to shed some light by saying the debit orders were reversed and as a result the account is now in arrears of R 817.00 inclusive of R 200 penalty fee. The manager could not help any further as he advised that we are to call the accounts department but further stated that Vodacom did not reverse the transactions but instead our Bank. I went to the bank who then advised that they had in fact not cancelled any order and that the fault lay with Vodacom. I am running from pillar to post and cannot find any joy and in the meantime I am being penalised every time the debit order does not go off. I contacted the Vodacom accounts department and spoke to a very rude consultant called Vitshego who was very unhelpful and frankly just had a bad attitude. She could not explain anything and transferred me to customer care. Here I spoke to Thando who transferred me once more to a different department as they could not assist. I then spoke to Torrence who transferred me to the collections department only to discover that I am to call back as their system is currently off line. I am LIVID and disgusted by such poor service. I in fact would like to cancel my contract because I cannot deal with such putrid service should I have any further problems in future. I am referring this matter to the ombudsman and I have done what I could and still not received any feedback at any stage. Instead, the collections department is saying that I must get a letter at my bank stating that the fault is not theirs AND ONLY ONCE THAT IS DONE, WILL VODACOM INVESTIGATE WHY THE DEBIT ORDER IS NOT GOING OFF. Four departments later and one branch visit and I still do not know why the debit order does not go off. WHAT A JOKE.
