POOR Service at Vodacom!!!!

I have a situation with Vodacom. I upgrade from a S4 Mini to A3 in July 2016. There was a problem on the whatsupp audio's received and the screen went black and freeze and I took it back within the 7 days. A month later they returned the phone and said they can't assist me as there is a third party involved (whatsupp). I request a new phone as this was done within the 7 days to their terms and conditions but they reply that during their test the phone did not go blank and that they can't give me a new phone. Now I am paying for the new phone with the default and they just sit back and say "sorry"! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! How can they make you pay for something that has a default on and not want to replace the defaul phone!!!!!!!

Dear Client
The Vodacom Repairs Escalation Desk confirmed the following:
The client's device was tested for freezing and screen going blank and there was no fault found during the testing. In terms of third party applications , Vodacom cannot take accountability if the service does not work on the device. We are mainly concerned about the normal functionalities on a device when assessing it.
The OBF(out of box failure) has been rejected as no fault was found with the handset. An Out Of Box Failure (OBF) is defined as a new handset that is faulty when first activated. The manufacturers require certain "OBF (out of box failure)" criteria to be met before a handset will be exchanged.
You may contact Vodacare Head Office on ********** (free from any Vodacom cell phone) or email the Escalation desk on Kind regards
