Poor Service at Cavendish Mall Vodacom

Good day,

I visited your Cavendish Mall Vodacom and I would like to bring to the attention of the owner of the branch, that customers are being turned away.

I asked the first consultant if they offered eSims and was told no, she then walked away.

I persisted and showed a second consultant an online Vodacom newsletter saying that eSims were launched in 2020. She then said yes, they do offer eSims. I enquired about a contract and asked for a cheap data contract (as this is a secondary line). She said that her cheapest contract was R129 per day month and it comes with free minutes (which I did not need). She said there’s no other contracts.

I walked away, looked at the Vodacom website and saw a bunch of cheaper data contracts online. I walked back and showed the consultant and she said that was an online only deal.

I’m not sure if your consultants at the Cavendish mall are ******** or have no interest in making sales, but this is really poor service. Better training is required for your staff, else rather keep them in the back office, away from customers.
