Poor Service and Terrible Network Throughput.
When I decided to move over to Vodacom fibre earlier this year due to their pricing being better, little did I know that the old adage of you get what you pay for would be so true.
Apart from the hell we experienced with the installation, then connection and activation, we have since had extremely poor Internet connectivity and throughput.
We have a 20/20 Meg fibre line, yet on a daily basis we sit with YouTube and Netflix buffering, even on the lowest quality setting.
My two WiFi cctv cameras usually inform me that I cannot connect to them due to poor network, or I have to connect at the lowest resolution.
If you run a Speed test everything looks wonderful, however the actual throughput on the network is pathetic - I didn't chose fibre for fast speed tests, I expected fast Internet connectivity and throughout as well.
Moving from Frogfoot and Afrihost to Vodacom was the biggest mistake!
I can't wait for my 2 year contract to be I p so I can go back to decent Internet rather than Vodacom.
