Poor Service and harassment

Dear Vodacom,

I was with your network for MANY years. In November last year I decided to move to a new network, and gave 30 days notice on the 18th November. The contract expiry date was 18th December. My service ended 30th December, and I moved to my new network on New Years day. Needless to say, my contract was FULLY PAID UP.

Subsequently I have received countless harassing telephone calls, text messages and recently threats about being handed over. I have spent MANY hours on the phone to nameless and clueless agents explaining exactly what I said in the first paragraph. I have been accused of everything from non-payment to cancelling the contract prematurely, none of which is remotely accurate of true.

Moreover I asked, each agent, that they email evidence of what I was being accused of. These agents then promise faithfully to email the proof of non-payment, but the emails never materialise. That constitutes legal harassment. I am sick to death of being hounded and harassed by a service provider I no longer have any involvement with, for something I am not responsible for. Please get your act together immediately.

I require confirmation that all calls, texts and threats will cease immediately, that my account is closed, and paid IN FULL and that all relevant departments, parties and collection agents have been instructed to cease contacting me. I also require an unequivocal apology emailed to me.

I expect this to be done within 48hrs of

Your sincerely, Tracy Bunn

Standard automated nameless Vodacom reply, I no longer trust anything they say. "Consultants" and agents have been promising to call and email for months. It's all a ****, designed to bully the customer. Quite disgusting.

Still no reply from Vodacom, typical of their arrogant "get stuffed"attitude towards their customers. So happy I took my business elsewhere. Complacency is scourge, and Vodacom is a prime example.

"Dear Dominic (or whatever your name is), I am so sick and tired of being harrased by your collection agents and "legal department". On 17th may you sent a mail saying the following: "Kindly note that the account has been resolved (and settled) and a request has been sent to our Collections team to rectify your payment profile. I do apologize for the inconvenience caused". Unsurprisingly, yesterday I received yet another text message asking me to call MBD inc (tel: ********** 557) , and today another call from a nameless clueless idiot telling me my account has been handed over for collection. I am gobsmacked at the sheer incompetence displayed by your company and proxies. Please, once again send these agents of yours an instruction confirming this account is paid up legitimately and closed. Vodacom will NEVER get my business again. I look forward to receipt of yet another letter from Vodacom confirming everyone has been informed, and that I no longer wish to see/hear the name VODACOM at any time in the future. I also want a personal apology from the CEO, on a Vodacom letterhead.

Yet more harrassment from MBD Inc Collection Agents, but no reply to our ongoing Hello Peter correspondence. DISGUSTING
