Poor Service and Execuses

I recently (wednesday) performed an upgrade with Vodacom. My wife at the same time ported from another service provider to Vodacom. I received a message yesterday from Vodacom asking that I phone them. I phoned and the gentlemen was unhelpful saying that there is no need for me to phone and the order was placed and I must wait. After insisting, he switched on his computer and discovered that he was wrong and need to capture the sale. After 40 minutes on the phone with him, he asked for my contact details and said he would phone me back. Late yesterday, I had heard nothing and phoned the very same number for escalation. The lady who answered said the gentlemen has done nothing and she would get hi to phone me. No call. I called this morning for and escalation, after waiting 20 minutes, no manager but the guy who strives for poor service. He apologised and said he would sort out in the next hour. Again nothing. I once again phoned for escalation. The lady kep me waiting for close to an hour and then said the manager is on another escalation and he has sorted the order and the phone will be delivered on Monday. I asked for the order number and details of order. So I am getting a ROSE GOLD phone instead of a Space Gray unit as indicated by the 1st consultant. I queried this and was told that I can reject the delivery and cancel my upgrade with no consideration that I will be on leave next week and I require the phone. I cannot get hold of a manger and all these consultants do is protect each other.

A very DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER

Best regards,
So, as I was told by colleagues, Vodacom only takes action when you post on Hellopeter. I was promptly contacted by a Voadcom consultant, Lesley Abels, on the 10/12/2016 who explained that he was personally handling the case. He will intercept the courier company before they deliver the wrong unit, check the wrong unit into the warehouse, and try to get the correct unit delivered to me by the 15th of December as I was going on leave and desperatley needed the unit as a christmas present. I also shared with him the dates I would be in Knysna and Capetown so if he ran late, the unit could be delivered to me whilst I was on holiday as this was an online order.
On Monday 12/12/2016, i was contacted by the courier company who wanted to deliver the wrong unit. It turned out that Mr Lesley Abels had not delivered as promised. I sent him an email to ask why the curier company was contacting me.....NO REPLY.
On the 15th (after I tried contacting him), just before leaving on my holiday, I receive the following message from Mr Lesley Abels:
Good day ......
I am sorry to inform that the order did not go according to plan. I have requested feedback from our Sales Team, as per our discussion , but the feedback has not been favourable.
The alternative is to complete a new upgrade at a store and I will reimburse you for the R150 admin fee and the R69 for new sim.
Regards
Lesley Abels
I responded to his email, NO REPLY
ALL THAT WAS DONE WAS PASSING THE RESPONSIBILITY TO ME. NO PRESENT, NO REAL WAY FORWARD AS THIS WAS AN ONLINE SPECIAL. NO RESOLUTION FROM VODACOM AND THE SAME DON'T CARE ATTITUDE.
I WOULD LIKE TO AMMEND MY RATING TO A BIG FAT 0 STAR.
