POOR SERVICE

My upgrade was due in September, I went to the Cape Gate 4U store for the HP PQC laptop for R389. I asked the consultant (Rushda) if I can take it on a 24 month/2gig contract as it is my existing contract. She said I can but it cost around R450-R480. I asked her why if there is a cheaper option and she said no. I decided to wait until the new deals get released on the 7th Oct.

On Monday 10 October I found the very same laptop on the 4U website for R389 for 24months/2gig. I printed the page and immediately went to the store at cape gate and was assisted by Cameron. I asked this gentleman 4 times if this information is correct and if I can get it on my upgrade, he assured me on 4 occassions that I can as he confirmed it and placed the order.

Today, 14 Oct I went to the store to collect and I was told by Lauren that I can only have it on 36 months. The deal I printed is for new contracts only yet it does not state that. WHAT THE HELL??????? She spoke to the manager and the manager confirmed this. Then. . . .and this is the best part, the manager says she can put it through for R399 on 24 months/2gig but she is not sure if it will go through because it was SEPTEMBER's price. AGAIN, ***????? I told the manager I was there couple weeks back and Rushda said there was no auch deal. When I came in September I couldnt get it for 399 (Rushda), I waited a couple weeks, went back to the store and they say I can get it on 389 (Cameron), I order it, go collect and then told I cant get it (Lauren), then told again by the manager it was 399 last month. That store is out of control and nobody knows what they are doing!!! I am going to cancel my contract just because of this!!
