My phone (Samsung S7), stopped charging over December. I took my phone to the Vodacom store in Brooklyn Mall and requested they send it for repairs on the 28th December 2017. Vodacom did not issue me a Loan phone, even though I am on a Red Package. Vodacom did not issue me with a Job Number for my phone, which meant that I could not trace my phone during the repair. After returning to the store on the 7th January 2018 to enquire to the progress of my phone. I was told that the phone would cost more to fix that to purchase a new one and that it could not be covered under a warranty. They said I had damaged the phone, to which I responded saying I hadn't as the phone had a cover and protective glass on it. They just said I should claim from insurance, which I said I would need the phone and a letter from them declaring the phone was beyond repair. Vodacom could not produce any documentation for my phone or even my damaged phone. I emailed ********** za and got not response and I called the call centre, which said that they cannot help me. I am still without a phone and still paying Vodacom for a service I am no receiving to date. This is my last resort, to try and solve my predicament.
