POOR SERVICE

I visited a Vodacom store in Musgrave Centre this morning to purchase a tempered glass cover for my cellphone. The assistant sold me a cover, costing R499.00 .She app**** the cover and handed it over to me. I placed the phone in my pocket and continued shopping. On reaching home, the cover had loosened and dislodged. I returned to the shop to complain. Another assistant mentioned that the back cover on my phone was not compatible with the glass cover that was sold to me. I enquired from the original assistant why she did not advise me accordingly so that I could have purchased another cover if necessary. I requested to speak to the manager who was very unhelpful - he refused to refund me the amount and insisted that it was not their responsibility to inform me that the glass cover would not work !! What utter nonsense! I now have to purchase another glass cover and back cover. Definitely shall not be visiting that shop or any other Vodacom shop again!! So much for consumer rights and the customer comes first !!
