Poor Service

I wrote a complaint letter to Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman/ National Consumer Commission about Nokia. I bought a Nokia 6 at a Vodacom store in Promenade Mall at Cape Town. Within the space of a year the phone stopped working and Vodacom advised that I should address the issue with Nokia. I was advised that the issue have been referred back to Vodacom. So I took the device to the nearest Vodacom outlet as advised, and that was in Cape Gate mall. Vodacom requested the IMEI number and I furnished them with everything they wanted. After a while, they (Vodacom) told me they do not repair Nokia devices. And it ended there, Vodacom failed me. How is it that they sell a product but have capacity to repair/fix the product. Can someone please help me!!!

Hi there,
Thank you for your prompt response. I did received a call from your consultant who goes by the name of Dean. I must admit his call was not much of any help to me. Dean advised that I should go to one of their Vodacom Care outlets which are Tygervalley Mall or Canal Walk. I opted for Tygervalley Mall, then I requested him (Dean) to send them a communication (email) before I go there, so as to avoid any misunderstandings or problems in as far as this matter is concerned. However, he insisted that there is no need for that, they will assist me. Upon arrival at the Tygervalley branch I was received by Tyler and Neville who could not assist me, saying that Dean gave me wrong information. This is frustrating and inconveniencing as I'm being sent from pillar to post. I just don't where to go now for help, can someone please help me.

The branch (Promenade Mall) at which I was referred to also failed me. On 11 August 2023 I visited the branch and I was received by Aisha who told me that there are no available parts for my Nokia 6, as such they are unable to repair my device. Why does Vodacom sell items which they don't have capacity to repair it. It's been a while since I laid this complaint with Consumer Goods Ombudsman with no solution and honestly I'm fed up. However, I refuse to let this go as I spent more than R4000.00 on that device. So what must I do now, please advise.
