Poor service

Vodacom please help me I had my prepaid number for years with you until someone in January this year *****ulently did sim swap I went to the branch was advised I must call the call centre I called and was advised by your call Centre that my number was hard locked there's nothing they can do I must go back to the branch and I will get assistance went to the branch the agents were just dismissing me off they didn't know what to say to me and they end up telling me my number has been recycled how come, please help me I need that number back.
