Poor policy towards loyal contract customers

I recently took in a cellphone to Vodacom under the 24 month warranty clause. The device had its mother board replaced for reasons only known to Vodacom. Upon receipt of the repaired device, I noticed the memory card reader was malfunctioning and returned the cellphone to Vodacom. I received notice that the phone would not be repaired and I would be requested to pick out a new device to the value of 3389. The device to be replaced was now discontinued and I had to pick out a new device. The conditions of the replacement stated that:

1. I can only take out one device i.e. not multiple dvices to the same value

2. Should the selected device be less than 3389, I forfeit the remaining amount.

3. If the dvice costs more than 3389, I would have to pay the difference.

These conditions from Vodacom have resulted in me forfeiting R700 as all the devices on offer fell short of the prescribed amount.
