Poor Network Connection & Unfair Fee

I contacted Vodacom regarding the poor network connection on my cell phone. They acknowledged the issue and promised to install five additional network towers in my area (ref: ***). Six months later, I was told that the process is in the hands of a third party, and Vodacom cannot expedite it.

Despite identifying this issue, Vodacom is charging me (ref: ***) after I decided to cancel my SIM card contract due to daily frustrations and their inability to provide an installation date. They penalized me for reporting the problem. I should have kept quiet like other customers who just switched to other service providers.

Vodacom, what do you stand to lose by reimbursing me compared to the ongoing losses until these towers are installed? Negative word of mouth from dissatisfied customers like me can be damaging.

I am deeply disappointed by the poor and unprofessional response from the Vodacom employee on the X account (Twitter). Showing me the contract line that ignores poor connection or network blind spots is, in my view, unreasonable. To put it bluntly that is being selfish!
