Poor, incorrect, inaccurate and misleading information regarding contract upgrade
Extremely poor, unprofessional, unreliable and incorrect information provided. Cant get hold of a senior staff member to rectify faults captured by Vodacom staff.
First attempt to upgrade: Call centre "agent" named Thandazile Mngonyima upgrades me to a 36 months contract when I specifically requested a 24 month contract. After a day or so I called just to check if all is on track and then I find out about the incorrect period of 36 months. I then notified them that the 36 months upgrade was incorrect and that I wanted a 24 month contract.
Second attempt to upgrade: A lady named S****ha Pillay assisted me to cancel the first upgrade and to enter into a 24 month contract. This contract was a bundle with 2 phones and I requested that when the upgrade is done she must add in extra 50 minutes for a discounted price of R30.
I immediately received an sms indicating that that the minutes have been added and that I will be charged. How can this be done when I had approximately 300 anytime minutes remaining?
There I had to call again to rectify their mistake. She informed me that unfortunately I will be charged for one month but subsequently I will not be charged. This is ****************
After a few day I contact the call centre again to find out is everything is ok and then I hear the phones that I agreed to are not available at Vodacom.????????
I wrote an email to Vodacom's customer care which was of no use.
I then wrote to the CEO and hope he responds.
How can a JSE listed entity provide such misleading and uphauling service??I received numerous sms' stating my query has been resolved but no one from Vodacom bothered to call me as my issues ARE STILL NOT RESOLVED
