Poor follow up - No reception at home issue (Customer Retention)

We moved into a new home and found that there were no Vodacom reception in certain spots. On 6 August 2015 I reported this. After promises of a new tower being installed and activated, without any improvement Vodacom finally conceded that they would buy out my two contracts. I was informed that I would be contacted by Customer Retentions in order to cancel the contracts and to port the numbers to pre-paid. I have since sent numerous emails to try and escalate the matter.

Ref nr: S3-G012D-D8PB1

Query nr: A2-1NEI-DLD1DH

***~3SLH

You have now emailed me stating: "Please be advised that I have followed up on your query and is still under investigation with reference number: EC-046I-2PX7JL"

However, I have already been advised several months ago, that the Network team was done investigating. The conclusion of this matter is that Client Retention was going to contact me in order to arrange the penalty and payment free cancellation of my two contracts, and have the numbers ported to a prepaid plan, so that I may move to a different operator. The problem is that the Client Retention department is not contacting me like promised.

Got a call on the 11th August from Customer care. Apparantly this is a known issue with the Client Retention department....and I would just have to wait it out. Alternatively Customer Care can cancel my contracts themselves, but then it would be WITH penalties....

So another week later, and no news from Client Retention.

1 year and 11 days later! Well done... I mean, even if you are trying to be *******, this would be tough to achieve!
