Poor customer service

On the 23rd of March I upgraded from HUAWEI P30 PRO TO IPHONE 13 after I was persuaded by Vodacom consultant to upgrade. A consultant called me persuading that I take insurance. And on the 26 of April, I then decided to take the consultant advise and ensured the iPhone. I personally called the Vodacom at the Glen Mall Johannesburg to get the insurance and the consultant was called through to the phone to assist me, I can’t remember the name. The consultant later called to confirm the activation of the iPhone contract without explaining terms and the conditions of the insurance. Because I still had my old device using the contracted sim card, I gave the iPhone to my daughter because I had two phones, and she used the cell c sim card on the iPhone. On the 25th of September my daughter was kidnapped and got ****** of the iPhone and other belongings. I called the claim department to claim for the ****** iPhone but I was told they can’t pick up the iPhone on the system only the HUAWEI P30 PRO that I have never insured, however the system was later updated to cover the iPhone. During the claim request I was told that there was no usage on the sim that was supposed to be on the device, yet no one ever explained that to me. I don't have a signed contract that indicates that I should not use a different network on the device and the Terms and conditions were not read to me, otherwise I would not have risked and use a different network on the iPhone. I thought I am ensuring the device not the sim, anyway Vodacom sim is used on my Vodacom old device, they are still benefiting on the sim.

The iPHONE is still new, meaning I will have to pay for the phone I don't have yet It was insured.
