Poor Customer Service at Vodacom
I've been desperately trying to move a contract from my my name over to my daughters. We completed all the required documentation and she went to the Vodacom outlet at the Lifestyle Centre in Kloof Street, Cape Town. The gentleman Ralph was very helpful and assured her a call the following day. A day went by and when she called again he had no answer. I contacted Customer Service who informed me that it takes 48 hours. 48 hours later, still no contact. My daughter called Vodacom and I was told that she was being investigated for *****! When I enquired more about this, I was told, it's due to Vodacom not being able to get hold of her employer and it's standard that she automatically go onto the ***** list. A few days later I was told that the problem was now solved and I would receive the contract and the new phone that has been due to me since February, in the next few days. Today I once again received the same story, and no answers given. I am been due an upgrade since February. I'm currently paying for a phone I don't have, paying for a contract i'm not using for over a week.
