Poor Customer service and Incompetence by Vodacom Woodlands

In September 2016, I went to Vodacom Woodlands in pretoria east to divert my prepaid number to contract. Instead the shop created a new contract with a different number altogether. I then requested them to reverse the contract and activate it on my prepaid number because as a business woman with clientele, I can't afford to change my current number. Till to date Vodacom has failed to rectify their mess actually they are taking R1999 from my bank account for the service I do not use. I wrote a number of emails, letter and visited the shop in several times with no luck. The Store manager Danie Hartzenberg told me that the issue will be resolved in 2 weeks but it has been months where they are enjoying an instalment of R1999 every month while I continue to buy prepaid data and airtime.

When I contact Vodacom customer service they told me that they cannot be able to reverse the contract as this has to be done by Vodacom Woodlands with a certain dealer number that they use to capture the contract. Danie told me that this process can only be done by a third party called Hicell as they are operating the shop under them. The manager in Hicell, Johann Geldenhuys also confirmed through an email that this process can be reversed only if I'm willing to activate my prepaid number to contract after they cancel the mistake they made. This process is still outstanding , I don't get any feedback or explanation from Danie or Vodacom. They don't care about their client as long as they are enjoying a fradualant amount of money they are *****ing from my account. This is so expensive for me because I pay them R1999 for service that I'm not receiving whereas I still have to buy airtime and data all the time

I found their poor service as cruel, incompetence and undermining the right of the client.

Regards

Vonani Mhinga

On the 24th January 2017, I received a call from a consultant who promised to give me feedback about this issue before or by the 27th January 2017.

I am still waiting for the feedback and want this issue to be resolved as soon as possible because Vodacom is continuing to deduct R1999 every month for the service that I'm not currently using.

I hope Vodacom will treat this matter urgently and not confirm their arrogance, poor service and lack of interest to their clients needs.

Good day

On tbe the 6th February, i received a sms from Vodacom customer service consultant, Rashieda Jattiem that the contract has been cancelled and the store will contact me soon. Its more than a month and i am still waiting for the store to do so. I called Vodacom only to find that the contract is still active not cancelled at all. They are still deducting R1999 from my account for service that i dont have and this is becoming very expensive for me i cannot afford anymore.

Vodacom is very arrogant actually most of my friends are experiencing poor service from them. They are very arrogant, ***********, ***** money from their customers and do not attend to issues in details.

I will be forced to oprn a ******** case against Vodacom shop who opened this ******** contract with my name without my permission.
