Poor Customer Service
visited the Vodacom Gateway store in Umhlanga today at around 13:30 to transfer a business account into my personal name. When I arrived, the lady at the entrance gave me a ticket and asked me to take a seat on the benches while I waited. I noticed there was only one consultant assisting customers at the Customer Care desk, even though there were four or five other Vodacom staff members walking around the store. I waited for about 10 to 15 minutes, and during that time not a single staff member approached me, offered assistance, or even acknowledged that customers were waiting. The one consultant at Customer Care was busy assisting other customers, but none of the other employees seemed interested in helping or checking if anyone else could be assisted. I eventually became frustrated and left the store without receiving any assistance. What disappointed me most was not the wait itself, but the complete lack of customer service and urgency from the staff on duty. I would appreciate it if a regional manager could contact me regarding this experience. I also encourage management to review the CCTV footage from around 13:30 today, as it will clearly show what took place. As a long-time customer, this is not the level of service I would expect from Vodacom. I hope this matter is addressed so that other customers do not have a similar experience
