Poor customer service

I have been a loyal customer for Vodacom network since 2017. I’ve opened my first phone contract with them and ever since I’ve been a loyal paying customer.

I have phone contract and data plan with them, my problem started when their sales agents took advantage knowing that I am loyal customer and they kept on selling products and I told one of them that I have enough 300GB monthly plan data but she persuade me to take the home internet that comes with router. The following day I did tried to contact Vodacom to let them know that I do not need the new line plan for home internet and I would love to cancel the new line before it could be delivered to me. I didn’t manage. The parcel was sent to me but I did not affect the package and it was returned by courier guys. Then I contacted Vodacom customer service and I explained to the agent that I do not want the package as I ******* to taking but I do not need it.

The agent who was assisting me pretended that she understood me and she acted like she sympathises with me as I got into my feelings trying to explain to her that I do not like the way I’m being treated by Vodacom, I’ve been a loyal customer I can not be taken advantage and persuade me to buy all the products they offering, there she offered me a phone to one of the data line that was SIM card only and she said it’s a token for apologising. But now I happens that she upgraded the same line now to another 2 year contract and it was about to expire and I had no intention to renew that one because I just took the 300GB data plan with them. Now my monthly premium is always going up.

The other thing is whenever I call them about my invoice they tell me things that does not make sense to me and they always add insurance to wrong number.

I am very much disappointed to the way Vodacom is treating me.
