Poor Customer Service

I’m totally dissatisfied and disappointed in how you treat your customers in your stores (Atterbury Value Mart, Pretoria Vodacom.

I bought a power bank charger on the 14th of February 2020 as a Valentine’s gift at Vodacom Atterbury Value Mart, Pretoria. I was informed by the receiver of the gift that it was damaged as it had glue inside the ports.

I collected it and returned in the store at Vodacom Atterbury Value Mart, Pretoria and left it there together with the receipt for an exchange but I told that they will phone me after a week as they needed to confirm with their manager. No one phoned me so I went back again to do a follow up, I was told again that they will phone after a week, they phoned me after 2 - 3 weeks telling me that sorry we can’t help you as it was damaged by me but I asked how? When we have found it like that and the person hanged up the phone.

I spent my hard earned money only to receive a damaged product and bad attitude from your employees.

I should have taken my hard earned money and spent it elsewhere where I would have been treated well.

I want the money to be refunded as I’m no longer interested to exchange the item.

Hi,

The product was damaged even when I had bought but we only realized that when we were opening the package. It was in a package and the store did not even open it to check if it’s in order so no one could tell. And it was not even damaged by ourselves.

So as a customer I must take the fall and loose my money. I would never buy from any Vodacom store as you treat your customers like they are nothing, you don’t even value your customers at all. You just think about your profits only.

I want my refund and if I don’t not receive it, I will go to the consumer ombudsman as they will assist me.
