Poor Customer Care Service

Upon the death of my wife on the 22nd July 2021 I approached Vodacom for them cancel the cellphone on my contract to which Vodacom and I came to a mutual agreement that is would be more prudent for me to continue with the contract until its expiry date which was October 2022. The final payment in October 2022 was quoted to me and I dually paid. I then found over the next three months charges of R22.00, R18.00 and R18.00 being invoiced against the cellphone number which had now been supposedly cancelled on my account. I erroneously paid the R22.00 without questioning it however the next two R18.00 amounts I declined to pay because all charges were for something that which I had not requested. Over the next months until the current date I have been to Vodacom World, Vodacom Northgate and Vodacom Fourways seeking to have this erased and the cellphone number closed and removed from my account. It is so frustrating that one is talking to a consultant who is speaking to a faceless person in Vodaworld (Ivory Tower) whom I do not wish to speak to as I have defective hearing having to wear 2 hearing aids. On each occasion phone calls were attended to by my son-in-law who handled the conversations. To date I have not been able to finally resolve the problem. the last visit to Vodacom Northgate prompted by me receiving SMS'S requesting me to pay the R36.00 or it could result in the other cellphones being cut off. This was supposedly resolved and I subsequently received 3 SMS's. one on the 16th of May stating service ticket had been logged to a support team for investigation. On the 18th of May further SMS which stated your requested service is still in progress. on the 19th May a further SMS stating your query has been closed visit www.vodacom.co.za for your PC or Cellphone. Upon opening the said website for help I received an error code 520 which states "host error". From the outsets in visiting Vodacom Fourways reference procedure to terminate the contract till current I was 77 years of age a few days ago I celebrated my 79 birthdays having visited Vodacom World Vodacom offices on 8 occasions. One can so Easly conclude that Vodacom are unwilling to put anything in writing to which one could reply to in writing confirmed by the fact that i have been unable to contact their manner prescribed above. I am at a loss to know what step to take in order to bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
