POOR CUSTOMER CARE

Monday 19:30 I phoned Vodacom as I have been having a challenge with this ********** ,not having a network.A lady advised me that my contract ended on the 22 of December 2016 and I was supposed to call Vodacom for a cancellation.

She gave me all the neccessary contacts digits.

At 07:36 Tuesday morning I decided to call cancelation number and the Gentlemen assisted me.I asked to do cancellation. After few security questions He requested to know on the reasonS for cancelation.

I explained that for a week I have been struggling to have network I then called customer care which I was advised that my contract ended on the 22 Dec and I was supposed to do cancelation or an upgrade.

The gentlemen told me that my contract is ending in March and I need to call again to advise or to do a notification alert.

I asked him why is that significant simply because the contract stapulates a 24 Months and I am expecting it to end in 24 Months. He told me that it business so I need to call in and this is quite disappoiting that I must be calling in for an alert into a 24 months contract.

The communication I received was for an upgrade alert only not even advising about the contracts ending dates.I request that you listen to both calls I made and make your own call on whether I am causing a hulloballo or not.

The gentelem from a cancellation department should not argue with a customer,He kept on telling me about BUSINESS SENSE while I am divulging my disatisfaction.

I still ask why should I call in while I am clearly aware of my contract period?

Why is Vodacom not reminding me of my contracts expirey date then I make a decision to upgrade or cancell.

If you are only Business oriantated but not service then you should just close your doors.
