Poor camera P40 lite
Vodacom from Mall of the South. I bought a Huawei P40 lite even though it was not the colour I wanted. I took it back before the 7 days to return it due to the poor quality pictures this phone has. They called in this Huawei Rep to explain to me but let me tell you his explanations were so low I did not want to argue with him. As his first explanation was that the Huawei P40 lite does not have the photo resolution because only the "bigger" as in the P40 Pro or P50 pro phones has the photo resolution. This phone does not take pictures that qualifies as a 48 mega pixel phone. The cashier just gave the manager a summary when I entered the door before I even gave my reasons for coming back. They gave me different explanations to which for me still did not explain why the phone takes poor quality pictures. Was told I should take it to Huawei in Woodmead as if I bought it there. Just now it just froze and gave me this error message " System UI isn't responding". Even if I have to take it back I know that they wont assist me. I have not had this phone for 5 days but am not happy yet I paid a lot for it.

Is this a way of trying to wait for the 7 days to pass so that I can be told that I will have to wait for the phone to be repaired. Yesterday when receiving a call it froze. Can I return the phone and be refunded because am not happy with it at all.

Yes they only responded on the 13th. The phone was taken for an assessment and now they are telling me that it has to be repaired and they are waiting for the parts. Why should a new phone worth R6000 give me a problem within 4 days and I can't be refunded my money but for the phone to be taken for repairs. I believe I should escalate it to Ombudsman because am not happy at all. I spend R5899 cash for a phone that I thought was worth it and now I have spent my days without a phone.
