Poor business ethic and practice

I had took a Vodacom contract at the Chatsworth Centre yesterday 23 December 2016. I do not take contracts regularly. I originally walked into to the store looking to purchase a Sony Xperia cellphone contract. I spoke to the Kaveesha Singh regarding my contract. I was approved and wanted to continue with the purchase of Sony phone. I was told by her and lead to believe that Sony phones have many calls back regarding the repairs of the phone. At this point I was a bit hestitate to continue to purchase the Sony Xperia as I was not prepared to buy a phone that is troublesome. She also stated that she had last sold a Sony phone 3 months ago! Which made me lead to believe at the time that a Sony phone is not good and didn't think she would lie. She then started to promote the LG X cam, which I thought was a better phone with a better front and rear camera. At no stage did she say anything negative about the LG X Cam. She was actually very bias regarding the device. At the time I looked at it she had taken an image that I didnt notice the quality of the image. So I was pursuaded to believe that this was a better phone for value. I had signed a contract from a single impression and firm recommendation from her that this phone that the LG is better then the Sony Xperia. When I took the contract I was not given sufficient chance to understand the contract and/or hear that I could not return this phone within 7 days. Whether I was told or not, does not matter, I did not understand the terms. I went back to the store next day and wanted to return the phone and take the Sony Xperia as this was my original choice before I was pursuded otherwise, but I was told I could not. I have not used the phone and it serves no purpose to me if if I am not happy with the phone. I have spoken to many call centre agents and the manager of the store telephonically, but they refuse. The exchange policy regarding this is extremely unfair and extremely bad business ethic as you are not giving the opportunity of the customer to rectify as he/she was mislead and unhappy with the device. I am very frustated and would like this issue to be reciprocated to senior management. And to reassess your policy as I will forever be disappointed and regret ever dealing with Vodacom. And continue to name and shame. I really do feel that Vodacom needs to reassess how customers are handled.
