Poor and unprofessional service at Vodacom Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)

My husband (the account holder) and I booked in my contract vodacom cellphone for repairs at the end of November 2023. The reason for repair was that it would not turn on. The service and communication at the store - Vodacom Baywest Mall, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) was average at the time but little did we know then that we would still be waiting for the phone, 4 and a half months later in April 2024!

When we went to the store in February 2024 we got handed a phone that was still not turning on or even charging!.. It was rebooked under another job no. and we were given a landline and cell no. To follow up on but that was pointless as we could never, up to this day, get through to anyone on those no.s it just rings on all efforts.

My husband or I have followed up in person at the store at least 4 times after November 2023 and to date there has been no call or explanation from the Vodacom repair store as to what is causing the long delay.

We were not offered much empathy or provided with an alternative phone during all our pursuits, the service is the worst I have received at any business! I don't know what processes need to go on behind the scenes but this long a wait and terrible service is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. I have been greatly inconvenienced in all this time and to top it off we are still paying for this phone contract monthly!
