Please just cancel my contract; PLEASE!

Well this seems to be the only way to get a response from Vodacom so here is my experience with you: 1. Cancelled contract was offered month to month package which I accepted (DID NOT SIGN A CONTRACT) 2. Months followed and my original contract fee kept coming off my account - I phoned each time to advise my contract had been cancelled to no avail. I finally decided to cancel my debit order. (NOT ONCE DID I ASK VODACOM FOR THE MONEY BACK THAT WAS *********LY TAKEN FROM ME) 3. Late December not wanting to get a bad record I called accounts to set up my debit order again for the correct amount. I was advised that all was in order with my debits and I did not owe anything on my account - I was shocked as I knew I had cancelled my debit order but they couldn't add my details to their system that showed everything was in order with my account. 4. On 8 January I got an sms to say R108.42 is due on my account. So I logged into Vodacom and tried to make a payment via EFT - I got an error to say my reference number (account number) is not valid however I copied this directly from your site and confirmed in store with a representative. 5. 9 January my account was suspended leaving me unable to use my phone! 6. 11 January I try to call to cancel my contract but I cannot as my account is in arrears. Please remember December it was confirmed that all was in order with my account and my debits coming off. My contract should only be R38.99 per month and yet I owe an amount of R108.42 in the time period of late December to Early January?! 7. 11 January I decide to go to your Customer Care Walk In store in Midrand for assistance. I chose to go to the teller first to get my account paid up to date. I was asked to pay a total of R148.00 which I did. 8. The lovely representative in store assisted me by calling your cancellation line. I was advised that I cannot cancel as my 'contract' only expires in 2019 but I was told I would be on a month to month. He advised that the lady who did my upgrade would call me to discuss as she is the only one who can authorize the cancellation now - she may have to pull the telephone call recording. 9. I refused to leave your store out of the fear of never hearing from you and having to start from scratch tomorrow. We phoned cancellations again and insisted that my contract be cancelled. Now all of a sudden the gentleman could assist however my account still showed in arrears so advised I have to wait 24 hours before I could cancel my contract.

Your systems do not work. I was told my contract was cancelled but I was still debited. I cancelled my debit order and your accounts system showed that my debit orders were fine and my account was up to date. The walk in store system showed that my contract ended in 2017 and no upgrade has been done. Your cancellation system shows I have a contract that only ends in 2019.

It extremely frustrating and there is NO accountability as everything has to be done over the phone (you so blady clever)

Anyway. I do not want a response from you - a sorry or someone will be in touch! I don't even want a refund for all the money you have taken from me. I JUST WANT YOU TO CANCEL MY CONTRACT PLEASSSSSEEEEEEEEE.

Vodacom - lets be honest, will my R40.00 a month really make a huge difference in your life? Is it not just easier to let me go?

My query has been escalated to "one of your solution experts", my ref no. is 1- ********** ********** and I have been asked to call back on Tuesday!
