Please Help Me Fix This!
<p>I have been pushed from pillar to post and cannot get a straight answer from anyone. I have called Vodacom Customer Care, Vodacom Galleria and Vodacom Pavillion all with different instructions.</p> <p> </p> <p>It is important to note that I have been a customer of Vodacom exclusively and loyaly for many, many years.</p> <p> </p> <p>What I did wrong:</p> <p>I though my phone had been ******. I call customer care and requested that the line be locked and the phone be black listed. I went into the Galleria store and did a sim swop. I called my IT department to do a wipe of the phone. I then found the phone in my car. </p> <p> </p> <p>What happened next:</p> <p>I called the customer care again and requested that they open the line and explained the situation. I completed the un-blacklist form and faxed it as insructed by the store to the number on the form. I again called and it was not received. I was requested to email the form. I then emailed i from my vodacom registered email address. I got reference number EC-OCL9-2WJ8MJ. I then called again to check receipt and still this could not be confirmed. They then advised me to go to a store as they could not un-blacklist the phone and only the store can do it. I called the store (pavillion) in anticipation of this and they explained that they now need an affidavit and proof of purchase. I called the call centre to request a copy of the original purchase and they said I have to contact the store. </p> <p> </p> <p>What now:</p> <p>I am frustrated and emotional. The reason I have utilised this platform is that there is no complaints email address on the vodacom site. I could also not use the app on my phone as it wants a OTP which I cannot receive. </p> <p> </p> <p>What I need:</p> <p>Please, I can give you the IMEI number, my bra size, anything. Just please get my phone back up and running. In this day and age, how can anyone be without a phone. I travel a long distance between work and home alone and need this service. Please do not get somone to call me to just pacify me - I need my problem solved.</p> <p> </p> <p>Contact:</p> ********** I will then provide my contact number as I am not comfortable putting it on a public platform such as this. </p>
