Please give me back my money. I followed all the correct steps
Before I came to South Korea, I went to a Vodacom Shop to cancel my contract but to keep my number on Prepaid. They said it can't be done in store and gave me the number that I had to call.
After the lady tried to sell me more products, she finally understood that I'm leaving the country. Then she told me I had to pay a penalty fee because I am breaking the contract before two years. This was not true, because I had the contract for longer than two years already. She 'looked again' on the system and saw that I was right. She told me the contract is cancelled and I will be on Prepaid from April 2017.
Today, 10 November 2017, I had to send a bank statement to someone and I saw that I am still paying R357.50 every month.
I really hope I am not one of the many victims that I hear about that struggle with Vodacom for years.
I trust that this problem will be solved before the end of November and that I will be refunded. I am not using the local number, so please contact me by email.
Regards,
Marni
