I have two Vodacom numbers. One expired in October 2016 (contract) and one February 2017 (top up). In November I got charged a small amount for the expired contract. No problem with that. In December I call Vodacom to cancel the contract completely. Checked my online profile today and both numbers were converted to prepaid. And then my problems started....

Called Vodacom to change my one number (top up) to a new contract. Called Upgrades department, they said I should call the Sales department as its a new contract and not an upgrade (and gave me the wrong number). Called the Sales department, said I need to call the Cancellations department as they need to convert my prepaid number to a contracts number. Called the Cancellations department, they refered me back to the Sales department. I told them "No", Sales refered me to Cancellations. Cancellations department said they will log a techical call, I must stay on the line. After a couple of minutes of waiting I hung up.....

I tried to do it online but have to order a new SIM card. The website is not userfriendly and your staff need to get more training.
