PHONES WERE DELIVERED AND SENT BACK

I done two cellphone upgrades. Upon doing the telephonic upgrade I was not told of the required documentation needed when the phones get delivered. My phones got delivered by RAM couriers and the guy told me my phones will have to be sent back as I do not have a copy of my ID and a copy of my proof of residence. Why should I give these documents to a total stranger? I have also waited a while for these phones as it was on back order. I am totally dissapointed and appalled by this situation especially after anticipating the arrival of them. When will I ever get my phones?
