Phone Still Not Picked Up No Notice of Contract Cancellation

I have really been struggling with Vodacom lately. Firstly they sent me a cellphone which doesn't work. i flagged this over and over last week and I kept on getting useless information on how to deal with the problem. Eventually I got a call on Tuesday morning from a lady at Vodacom who I cancelled the contract with and agreed with her that I would go to another Vodacom shop to get a new contract. I went to a Vodacom shop in Cresta and when I got there there was no notificatin of my contract having being cancelled. So there was a battle to get the new contract. Bear in mind that this meant that I could not use my number of over 12 years as my new contract, which has been disorientating.

Now that I finally have my new contract and a new number, there is no credit for me to make phone calls. I got the contract on Thursday already.

On Thursday, I also got a phone call from Ram couriers and they assured me that they would come and pick up the phone from the contract I have cancelled on Friday at my office. No one came through. No one at all came through. Now I still have the phone that doesn't work and no confirmation of whether that malfunctioning contract has been cancelled as agreed with Vodacom.

It's a mess and I need it resolved urgently.

- Firstly I need Ram or whoever Vodacom contracts as a courier to come and fetch the defunct phone.

- Secondly I need confirmation that that contract (initiated on the 21st of November 2016) is cancelled.

- Thirdly, I need my airtime on this contract I am now using (initiated on 1 December 2016) to be loaded.

- Finally, I need my number on the other contract (initiated on the 21st November 2016) to go back to being prepaid.

I would really appreciate this nightmare to be resolved once and for all.

Thank you

P
