Phone returned broken from repair centre
I recently bought a new Sony Z3 on contract from Vodacom in Brits.
After just over a week of problem free use, the phone failed to switch on.
I sent it to Vodacom for repairs, after a week I followed up on the repair, after being sent from pillar to post, I finally managed to get feedback that my phone was irreparable and needed to be replaced. After another week, I got feedback that I could collect the replaced phone. Vodacom tried to pass off a phone as a new replacement, which was covered in dents and scratches. When I questioned the repair slip stating that the phone needed to be replaced, I was told \the mother board had been replaced in my old phone chassis". I wouldn't accept that the phone that they tried to pass off as my phone was covered in scratches and the screen and back protective covers were bubbled and and peeling off the phone. I would not accept that my brand new phone returned from the repair centre in such a bad state.
The only answer I got from the manager was \""what do you want me to do? I can't do anything \"".
I have been paying for a phone for 2 months"
