Phone paid off but still being charged R1800

I was on a 2 year contract with vodacom for an iPhone 12 and the 6.5 GB data package, paying R1,880 pm for the term with insurance (at the time insurance was only R150). The phone was paid off in January 2024. I was contacted to upgrade my package but did not want to at the time. Only recently did I see that Vodacom has still been charging me the exact same amount (R1880). When I check the invoices, we are being charged R1,450 for the data package and R423 pm for Insurance (not dissimilar to car insurance) and then some change for fees.

I have tried to speak to many consultants querying why we are being charged so much for a phone contract that was paid off, and when the same DATA package on the website is only about R600. One consultant agreed with me and expressed there was something wrong. I respect this person for actually being transparent and having a conversation with me like a human being. The other consultants only said "Yes ma'am, when your phone was paid off then the special ends" meaning what?, so when the phone is paid off, the numbers are just manipulated to make the account holder pay the exact same? Honestly feels like highway *******.

I will not engage with Vodacom going further, my contract will be cancelled and I will move to a different service provider.
