Phone number does not exists, no service on my phone

From 17 August my phone number stopped working, nobody can phone me, an error is played "this phone number does not exists" when somebody phones my number. I do not have any service. I reported the problem to Vodacom, but it has still not be solved by today, a week later. I cannot do anything on my phone. This is ridiculous, it is like my phone line just vanished, or taken of the network.
