Phone not repaired after 3 job numbers

I first took my phone in at Vodacom Repairs Menlyn on 24 Sep 16 (job number ********** 4-954668). Phone was constantly rebooting itself and was overheating.

On the 4th of Oct, I was called in to collect the phone. It was not repaired, report stating water damages I knew nothing about, phone was never damaged by water. Upon inspection, I noted that my screen was detaching from the body of the phone, damages it did not have going in. I asked them about it, they tried to fix it in the store. Then we booked it in again, on the same day, new job number was ********** 8-954938.

On the 11th of October, I was again called in. This time, all my memories was wiped out BUT the screen was still not fixed i.e. was still detaching from the body. When I asked about it, they lady helping me took it again to the engineer on duty, they said they have to remove the body and I will be quoted. I did not damage my phone. But I have to pay for it.

In all these instances, my phone was being taken to 'Advanced Repair Centre' - yet nothing was being repaird,. More like Advanced Damage Centre.

My contract is upgradable in November this year. Could this be Vodacom's way of getting me to upgrade sooner than I should? Is this how customers are to be treated? How many days must my phone be in Vodacom's hands before I can use it? Why did they spend almost a month with it just to wipe out my memory and not do any other thing except damage my screens?

Vodacom maybe when you get your people to call us for escalating issues such as these you'd get people with people s****s. Divan Cloete from your escalations called me last week. My phone had been with your repairs guys for 3 job numbers and when your guys wanted to re-book it, I took it with. I even signed the receipt letter stating that the phone is not fixed and yet he blames me for taking my phone after I explained that I had very important business requiring email-enabled phone and that the store didn't want to give me a loan phone. I am human, and I know your employees are also human but 3 job numbers and such BAD SERVICE AND BAD ATTITUDE! I pay about R700 for the contract alone, not even adding the airtime and expensive data I buy; my fiance' spends about a R1000, also not counting the data she buys. On top of that we buy our families data and airtime. Maybe our business means nothing to you and we should take the message as such.
I have taken my phone back to the Menlyn store on Saturday afternoon, the fourth job number is ********** 2. I shall wait and see how this pen out.
