Phone not fixed

In early February I took in my Blackberry 9720 for repairs at a vodacom outlet. The phone is still under warranty. It had suddenly stopped charging. The fault is not with the charger as I'm still using that very charger on my BB9900. They took the phone in and then returned it to me without having fixed it. The job number is ***9. They said the technicians gave it a B. E. R. fault report, which ultimately means it cannot be fixed.
So then what do I do now? What is warranty for? I have a friend who had the exact same problem on his 9720 and took it in for repairs in KZN and it was fixed.

This is really unacceptable. What then is warranty for? Now I have no phone. This is not a negligence fault because the phone itself is in great condition and the charger works on another phone. I am highly disappointed at this outcome...

I need an explanation and I need my phone fixed...
