Phone in for repair for 2 months
Phone was taken into the Vodcam Hout Bay shop on 24 January with error reading sim card issue. Sent to Repair centre and after 3 weeks no communication. I called repair centre to be told screen was cracked and would cost R2500 to fix. I never received notification or quote. I do not have the money to replace a screen that I did not crack so I asked them to send the phone back. I called the manager of the Hout Bay shop to complain and she sent the phone back as there was no record of the phone screen being cracked when it left the Hout Bay shop. To date I am still waiting for my phone. I am on contract so am paying for a handset that I cannot use. Whilst the repair centre and the Hout Bay shop are arguing over who is going to pay for my phone to be fixed I the customer sit with no phone for two months. How is this customer service.
