Phone contract

I have a contract with vodacom and one of their employees called me to lie and say that vodacom is giving all their employees an upper contract not knowing it was all a lie.now my contract is compromised and I can’t access my phone because I am now required to pay the amount of money I did not sign up for. They are refusing to downgrade my contract back to its original contract
