PETHPATHIC SERVICE

On the 18th of March 2024 i called Vodacom to complain about my connectivity issues. i then followed in April and was told that the call was closed. i advised that i do not want to open up another complaint but rather they open that "closed call" and assign a tech. they sent out open serve. Open served arrived about 10 days later and after testing the lines advised that the fault is with Vodacom and they need to get involved. Whilst the Tech from open serve was here i called vodacom and the tech from open serve had a conversation with Vodacom advising that the fault is on their side, this was on the 27th of April. i requested that a tech comes out on Monday to sort this out. It is now more than a week and still no one has come out. When i followed up on Friday the 3rd of May 2024 I was advised that open serve needs to sort it out. i then requested for a manager as open serve was already out to assist. I waited for about 30 minutes before i could speak to a manager and then the call cut and no one had the decency to call back. i called again today and now get told that the call has been closed. i am beyond frustrated with Vodacom. i think i have been very patient.

Dear Customer, Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation. Kindly be advised that the query was escalated to the Fibre Escalations Department and based on the feedback received, contact was made, and feedback provided as follows:
You were not satisfied with the Technicians findings on-site. The Technician had advised you that you'll need to install extenders to improve the speed dropping however you were not willing to install extenders as the connection was working fine until recently when you started having the speed issue.

You are not willing to buy the extenders/beacons or rather even to upgrade your line.

 Regards Vodacom Consumer Website Team

Best regards,
