I have been a loyal customer of Vodacom for years but the service and the treatment me and my mother received recently was horrible we did not deserve it. I know our 5 cents might not make any difference to their billion trillion business but we are still customers. 2 months ago I received an SMS while I was sleeping at home that my contract was approved, I recently made a follow and called Vodacom and I was not helped at all as the customer center was telling me that there is nothing they can do. I went to the store where the account was opened and luckily I managed to cancel the account. The showed me all the details on the system, the ID that was attached on that contract was not even close to my ID numbers. I reported ***** to vidacom online because all Voda shops told me that they are not taking any complaints because they are just a franchise

Recently my mother's number who is 70 years old received a call from Vodacom telling her that she is sharing her number with someone and the phone was ******. This is the phone I bought for my mother and my mother has been using this number since she started using a phone years back. So the phone was blocked by Vodacom after asking an old women questions she did not even understand. Then i made a follow up I was told that the number was handed over to forensic and they only notice later that they made a mistake but they cannot activate the number because the case if with forensic and I must forensic myself to resolve the case.

This is really terrible and abuse of an old woman who does not even understand all these technology things. Am very angry and disappointed. Our information is not protected by Vodacom at all.
