PENSIONERS ARE BEING EXPLOITED VY VODACOM
Pleae see attached email sent to vodacom on 2018-10-15, after I visited Vodacom Branch Illanga Mall on 2018-10-14
Good day,
I would like to report the death of the above mentioned person who is my father.
My mother a pensioner asked me to assist on her behalf.
My name is Ms. Annette Bezuidenhout with id ********** 262086 residing in Nelspruit.
Well, I would like to start by reporting, that I am very disappointed In Vodacom, and in such a manner, that if Vodacom does not respond to this email very promptly and very professionaly, it would also be reported to Hello Peter and maybe to the newspapers, l think many people have become tired of the way Vodacom operate.
Fisrt of all, my father did not want to re-new his contract to find out yesterday at Illanga Mall, that the contract was re-newed in June 2018, after he had on several occassions declined re-newing a contract on ********** 535.(Contract needs to be reversed).
The following no ********** 802 is a contract which has now been placed on a month to month contract. This contract also needs to be cancelled with immediate effect, but my mother would like to keep the number.
Vodacom sent my parents two phones with no ********** 541 and ********** 603, of which they returned the phones with ram. This was in 2017/09, of which they have been paying for two phones which are not even in their possession.
It was acknowledged by JP Illanga Mall, that there is proof on your system the phones were returned.
I wonder what would happen , if we go to court and ask that all voice recordings made to the deceased be recalled, as you always say "all calls are recorded."
I think it is a disgrace that our elderly people are treated in such a manner, which I see as *****.
My mother Ms. AM de Azevedo asked me to handle this matter on her behalf as she is now the widow of the deceased.
My mother wished though to keep the no ********** 535. & ********** .
Futher more, I would like to state that my father has 5 children, and we would stand behind our parents regarding the above which I see as a disgrace.
My contact no is ********** 204.
Kindly advice regarding the way forward and the no's my mom would like to keep.
Greetings Ms. Annette Bezuidenhout.
I contacted the same brach today, 2018-10-17 and was informed by the consultant JP Grobler that he has received no correspondence from Vodacom, after the email sent by him on 2018-10-14.
As previously, Hello Peter has assisted me with Vodacom queries, and my queries were resolved.
