Paying for unknown device
I have a contract with vodacom which was taken in 2020 July intially it was R228.00 for data on 90% discount minutes and a handset P40 lite but i noticed they brought it up to R497.00 i brought it to their attention on 15 February 2022 and they said i had added a handset last year April 2021 which i never did and said they would investigate the problem but the did not instead they closed the investigation without consulting with me. I sent an email to the complainants@vodacom over a month ago and still nobody has contacted me and again this end of March they deducted the same fee. I have been with them for almost 2 decades but I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody of late !!! Parthetic service!!!

Please note that your upgrade processed on the 13/06/2020 included a handset instalment for the device of R200. When you processed a migration on the 30/10/2020, the system accidently removed the handset charge from the account. This you have not been charged for the handset since October 2020. The system picked this up and a request was submitted to add the handset instalment back on the account. Kindly note that you are liable for the handset instalment as it was part of the upgrade processed.

01 Apr 2022, 12:45The whole amount included with the handset has been R 228.00 from the time i took the contract that was the agreed upon amount maybe you call pull the record of that particular call and hear me clearly telling the sales consultant that i don’t want to pay more than 350 on the contract included the headset hence she offered me this 10g on 90% discount. Pull out the record and listen to the call. I cant have been paying R297 every month for 10gig which was meant to be on 90% discount. If you you would refer to the email i sent you will see that i was even paying more than the R228 i was paying R297 for many months then suddenly i came to R497. Pull out your records on my initial contract. The only change I’m aware of regarding this contract is the 50mins being given as airtime
