PAYING FOR SERVICES I CAN NOT ACCESS.
I have two contracts with vodacom, a sim only contract where I get 20Gb data and 20Gb night cap, and one for my phone. Last year, Dec I started having problems accessing the internet. I called the customer service and reported the problem and was told to go around the area I live and ask for numbers of vodacom users. I explained to the lady who was assisting that that'd be impossible as I live in a quite suburban area with only one business building and the correctional services closest to me. After my problem wasn't fixed I gave up and went home for the holidays.
I came back in January and I still had the same problem. This time I was irritated because it means I am paying for services I am not receiving. I have tried to get help as a "valued customer" but my sim card still sits unused, with 40Gb data that has been paid for but I can't use because.....
I have asked about cancelling the contract as I'm paying for services I do not use and was told I'd be breaching the contract and would then have to pay vodacom for the remaining months of my contract. How have I breached the contract when Vodacom has failed to deliver the services as per our agreement in the contract.
I'm tired. I feel bul**** by vodacom because they feel they have the upper hand. If I cancel the debit orders and refuse to pay for services I can no longer use I am the one who will be under credit bureau when it was never my fault.
Can vodacom stop referring to us as valued customers when they treat us like ****.
