PAYING FOR CONTRACT WITHOUT THE USE OF A PHONE
Dear Vodacom<br> On the 6th of December I sent my phone in for repairs at the above mentioned store. I was still able to receive and make calls and use the apps on the phone. However I was advised to send it in for repairs to prevent any further damage. The phone was taken in and I was notified a few days later that it was beyond economic repair and should claim for a new handset from my insurance (which also happens to be Vodacom). Insurance approved the claim and I requested to get an iPhone 6. A consultant notified me the phones were available upon another visit to the store and I needed write a letter confirming that the damaged handset had been taken off iCloud. Upon doing this, it was confirmed i would get the new handset. When I arrived at the store to pick up the new phone, I was told they were again out of stock. This after being given confirmation that the phones were there and i would receive one. I have been paying now for two months for a phone I do not have, and Vodacom has failed to provide me a spare phone. I will cancel any further payments to the service provider until I receive the phone I am paying for.Further damage was caused to my old phone while it was with them
