PAYING FOR CONTRACT BUT HAVE NO HANDSET, bAD VODACOM!

Vodacom sucks in Telecommunications, So last year May we ( husband and I) did an online purchase upgrade with Insurance for the Device. I was called back to be informed I don't qualify for the handset I indicated, at this point everything is still going well. so I was given another list of handsets to choose which I then chose the Samsung A2 core blue. Handset was delivered the Wednesday, that evening my husband set up the phone put in his sim card everything is still good at this point too. Sadly my husband got ****** by gun point and every valuable item was taken from him including his wedding band and both handsets contracts with Vodacom. So the next day we called back and explained what happened, made a case with the police got a case number and send it to them. We were then told that the online purchase didn't show insurance after we chose the 2nd handset so it was my responsibility to tell them I want insurance again. At this point I got furious coz no one explained to me that the insurance was removed, why it was removed I don't know we never asked for it to be removed. I'm under the impression just like with Cell C 7 days warranty / guarantee the phone wil replaced. This happened last year May 2019 and its February 2020. We have numerous emails, Phone calls with Thembiso from the Upgrade department, Pelisiwe from the customer service and Portia at the Online purchase department and yet NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we are paying and being pilled for 10 months for a handset we don't have and don't have any benefit of. We were told to buy a new phone and then they can give us a contract sim card and we can then use the sim card.

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS!!!!!!!!! BUT IF WE DONT PAY, WE GET HANDED OVER AND NOTHING HAPPENS TO THEM.

NO CALLS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED .

THEY HAVE TOLD US THAT THE CONSULTANT WAS IN THE WRONG AND THAT THEY WOULD LISTEN TO RECODING AND GET BACK TO US BUT UP TO DATE NOTHING HAS HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!

SO SICK AND TIRED OF PAYING FOR A CONTRACT, HANDSET I AM NOT USING!!!!
