PATHETIC ,UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

On Friday the 13th of May I accompanied a friend to a Vodacom outlet to buy a phone. While we were waiting a customer infront of us answered his phone and he was rudely interrupted by the lady on the counter who told him he was loud , the customer apologised and quickly went outside . We were suprised by this , not knowing our turn was coming. We were served by the same lady who had an attituted, treated us as if we were there to beg , anyway we bought the phone and requested to Rica the SIM card . She sent us to another lady who proceeded with registering the SIM card. While waiting we were talking , a security guard who was standing not far from us requested we stop talking as we were loud. We asked him whether was that Vodacom policy or franchise policy not to talk inside their shop, he did not respond. We told him we are customers and we will not stop talking as that is not the way to treat customers . The lady from whom we bought the phone looked annoyed and we made it clear we were not going to stop talking.

We were so shocked by the service we received there , they treat customers like beggars and unfortunately the reputation of Vodacom is involved. Later on I phoned the shop and spoke to someone who said she was the manager who said " they are a financial institution and they do not want to be disturbed while serving customers" . Is this Vodacoms policy ? . I work at the one of the financial institution ( Bank) and we do not treat customers like that. We are matured ,professional bankers and we know how to handle ourselves in business places and there is no way that we were loud
