Pathetic & Shocking Service & Delivery

I am shocked and perturbed at the lack of Service and professionalism received from Vodacom C**** Walk and subsequently Vodacom N1 City. I have 2 contracts with this Service Provider and visited their C**** Walk branch on Monday 2 May to upgrade my daughter's Phone and liaised with Ashley Adams. They ordered the Phone for me and confirmed the order via sms the next day. I thereafter followed up on this on the Thursday 5 May 2016 and have yet to receive an sms or call from him. I liaised with Carla at the C**** Walk branch and left at least 5 messages for him to call me back. I then called Vodacom N1 City on Sunday 8th May and liased with Stephanie who confirmed they had the phone for me and I arranged to collect the phone same day.

My daughter and I got there with all the necessary, however they were unable to process a new application due to the fact that Ashley's application was still active. Then I had to phone (no they did not even offer to phone on my behalf) - Carla answers and says I called at a bad time as Ashley is on a lunch break! Really? After almost 20 minutes on the phone, she advises she will ask another Consultant to delete the application. At this time the N1city Branch staff want to leave as its almost closing time (5pm). I arrange to collect the phone Monday 10 May before 7pm. They ensure all will be fine and they will keep the phone for collection the next day.

I arrive at N1 City on 10th May at approximately 6pm to collect the phone. To my utter shock the same person who ***isted me the day before - Stephanie, confirms they sold the phone!!!!!! SERIOUSLY?! I immediately let her know that I am not impressed and best she find a phone as we arranged this the day before. She disappears to the back of the store for +-30minutes and comes out to apologise and tell me I can go to Bayview to get the phone. I then told her that she needs to get the phone to their BRanch (which is more convenient) ASAP and That I will not be paying R150 upgrade fee due to the fact that they have wasted my time, Airtime and petrol!! she confirms to me that the phone will be at N1 city on 10 May and that she will arrange with her Manager to waive the R150 upgrade fee and she will call me today to confirm the latter.

Guess what, still no call. I had to call in and guess what again, Stephanie is not in today. I then ask to speak to the Manager PETRA. I explain the whole story to her and she apologises for my experience, however I need to understand that they are a Franchise and she cannot waive the fees. I ask for the details of the Franchise owner then, she says she can give it to me, however he will suggest that the Consultant pay this with their salary. I'm like, "I am the client, I shouldn't be told these things? I work in the Service industry and that is so unprofessional and does not concern me" She says "I cannot believe you?" What next people????

I am shocked at this service in this day and age! I NEVER complain, but this has to be, by far, my worse customer experience.

Petra has now confirmed that I may collect the Phone this evening before 7pm and I will not be charged the fee. So tonight is the 3rd night I will be trekking to Vodacom N1 City.....Let's see what happens.......
