Pathetic service- no follow up- ``clearly don't care about their customers.

we have recently upgraded my wife's phone to the Iphone 7 through the apple store- no change to the contract. the contract is a top up contract. 5 days ago my wife had run out of data. I topped the data up via my absa internet banking. The amount went through my account, my wife got an sms from vodacom saying that the data has been loaded on the iphone. BUT....The iphone did not have data. We immedietly called 111. Holding on for hours and not getting this resolved. was told that they ould not see any paymnent from absa and suggested i look if the monies had gone through my account. So i did that, and yes the monies had gone through. I told them that. Plus, i told them that i go an sms from my bank telling me a deposit had been done, plus a onfirmation from Vodacom saying i now have data- but still no data. out of agrivation i called again. had to fight with the call centre agents for them to finally put me through to a supervsior. this was done. I now thought that i had won and that the issues would be fixed. the supervisior told me that he could not see the payment, but could hear that i was unhappy and aggrovated, so he said that vodacom will give the phone 1G of data to ease the agrivation. Told me this would take between 1 to 6 hours- Fustrating, but no data. Out of pure despiration, i went back into my absa account and bought another data package, thinking that maybe, just maybe it was a once off issue and that buying more would fix the issue- but it did not. I now have 2 purchases that have not gone through.Yesturday i contacted the call centre again. told the 3rd call centre agent my issue. same story, could not assist. I then go put through to the supervisor, a guy named Theo Snith. Theo told me that he had found both the purchases but could not understand why they were not being pushed through to the phone. He told me he woud call me later to give me an update. He did call later to tell me that they are working on it. From then, i did not hear from him. Good customer service would have meant that he would have called me this morning to again appologise and ensure me that he was working oon it. But this did not happen. Tonight, after much pain i managed to get hold of Theo again. Same story. Quite honestly, i am just one of many customers who is stuck into a que and must just wait. I cannot do this. We use the phone to do lots of business and this is effecting the business. The does not really appreciate the issues this is causing- that is my view. There is no sense of urgency. I told him that i would cancell the contract, it is only 1 month in. He then went on about the cancelation fee. I told him that there will not be a cancelation fee, cause in theory, what i bought and what i can do with it are 2 different things. this is boarderline *********. I have suggested that Vodacom should bring my wife a loan phone with data to use until such time as the issue is resolved. This is not going to happen. So the last words from Theo is that he will call me tomorrow to give an update. This is very sad. I am very mad and cannot believe what shocking service i am getting. it has now been 5 days......and nothing has been done- I am dissapointed.
