Pathetic Service - getting bounced from dept. to dept. with no resolve or help

Good day

I sent my phone in for Repairs in early November.

Vodacom advised that they could not repair my phone and that they would have to replace my phone.

As my phone has been discontinued, I would have to pick another handset. The handset that is being offered to me (Xperia XA) is worth much less than the phone I had (Xperia Z5). I have been trying to get the assisitance of anyone at Vodacom but I keep getting connected from Activations to Insurance to Repairs and back again to Customer Service. I have a Reference Number (-1- ********** 360) for this request, yet no one is able to give me any feedback. This is unaccpetable service from Vodacom!!!

All I asked was for a solutions specialist to look at the request and advise if there is some other form of compensation for the difference. I am happy to accept accesories or something else, but I refuse to keep paying the same monthly installment for a device thats worth close to half of my original phone with no other compensation.

I have spent so much time on the phone trying to get some sort of assistance with no luck. My patients have now run out.

Additionally, please train your staff as they keep connecting me to the wrong department and have no idea how to assist. Dealing with the call centre is like pulling teeth. So difficult to get any assistance.

Pathetic!!!

Still waiting for a call...
Can the person investigating this also provide me with how to cancel the contract.
I have been without my phone for close to 2 months!!!!
I am now done. This is pathetic!

This is neither an Insurance or Repair desk issue. This is a fundamental contract issue in that I took out a contract for one device and vodacom are not compensating me for the value of that device. Why is it that I have to pay in for a more expensive phone, yet Vodacom can give me a cheaper phone and keep my monthly installment the same?
I refuse to explain myself to the wrong department again!!! The last time I spoke to both Celeste in Insurance she was very clear that she cannot help me and she then connected me to Activations.
Lets try this again - I would like to be in contact with the Solutions Specialist department.

If this is not resolved by 6th Jan, more than 2 months after I sent my phone in for Repairs, then I will be going into the store and cancelling my contract. I have now had enough of the level of incompetence and lack of consideration from Vodacom.
